New Funding Opportunity Available for Proof of Concept

A proof of concept fund in the amount of $40,000 has been established for the 2020 – 2021 year. This South Dakota SHARPhub Life Science and Biotechnology Proof of Concept Fund is intended to help researchers advance the development of novel applied technologies that have the potential for commercialization and economic development. The proof of concept fund focuses on supporting activities to advance technologies through the proof of concept phase. If you are a researcher at a South Dakota institution for higher education (either a primarily undergraduate institution or any SD Board of Regents institution) with a life science or biomed technology that you would like to someday commercialize, you are eligible to apply.
 
Proposals are due on January 3, 2020 to SDSHARPhubPOC@draco.bio
 
The Dakota Research and Consulting Organization (DRACO) will be coordinating the collection of proposals and assembling the proposal review panel.
