South Dakota Celebrates Cybersecurity Awareness Month

South Dakota’s cybersecurity and artificial intelligence industry has grown 350 percent over the past decade, the second-fastest rate in the nation. That momentum is fueling thousands of high-paying jobs, new research facilities, and a stronger economy across the state.

Governor Larry Rhoden and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) are highlighting this progress during Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October.

With strong public and private investment, South Dakota is securing its place as a national leader in cybersecurity and AI.
